Alexandre has coordinated work on some large investigations into Information Operations linked to Russia, India and China. He led the exposure of Doppelganger, which has been labeled as one of the largest information operations from Russia since the end of the Cold War.
Member of the Governance Body of the European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN), and of its policy task force. Coordinated the award-winning CrossCheck France project during the 2017 French presidential election for First Draft.
Regularly advises regulators with technical perspectives on AI ethics, algorithmic auditing and platform accountability, including EU Commission, French National Senate and Assembly and European Parliament. Also a frequent expert contributor in high-profile press.
Led advocacy campaigns at the Mozilla Foundation for policies to improve independent researcher access to data and open-source auditing of consumer technology platforms in Europe and the United States
Appointed to the High Level Group against Disinformation by the European Commission and is the chair of the European Fact-checking Standards Network (EFCSN), with 60 members across the continent. Cofounder of one of the leader organisations globally in the fight against disinformation.
Programme manager for the interdisciplinary MA degree Disinformation and Societal Resilience University of Tartu.
Member of the Committee on Honesty, Independence and Pluralism for the programs of Radio France (the French national public radio). She also testified to the French Senate in May 2023 and the European Parliament in November 2021.
